The Sleepy Hugs baby sleeping bag is designed to help your baby gently transition out of a restrictive swaddle.  It has been designed to be a looser fit than most other baby sleeping bags and is most effective in helping your baby adjust to free arms with the correct size.  

The Sleepy Hugs is all about the arm span so it’s important to choose the correct size. If too big, your baby will not get the security and snug fit that they still need in the arms. More importantly, if too big there could be excess fabric that could pose a safety risk.

The correct way to measure your baby's arm span is to measure with your baby’s arms slightly bent from one side to the other - this is how your baby sleeps naturally.

Do not measure with your baby's arms fully stretched out - you will not get the right fit.

SLEEPY HUGS SIZE GUIDE

The SLEEPY HUGS is all about the arm span so it’s important to choose the correct size. If too big, your baby will not get the security and snug fit that they still need.

The SLEEPY HUGS sleep sacks come in three sizes:

• X-Small (0-3 M) - suitable for babies aged from newborn to 12 weeks, average weight of 7 - 12 pounds. The sleep suit has an arm width of approx 18 inches, and approx 19 inches (49 cm) in length with a neck hole opening of approx 3.5 inches.

• Small (3-6 M) - suitable for babies aged from 3 months onwards weighing 12 - 16 pounds. The sleep suit has an arm width of approx. 22 inches, and approx 25.5 inches in length with a neck hole opening of approx 4 - 4.5 inches.

• Medium (6-12 M) - suitable for babies aged from 6 months onwards, weighing 17 - 21 pounds. The sleep suit has an arm width of approx 25.5 inches, and approx 29.5 inches in length with a neck hole opening of approx 4.5 - 5 inches.

HANDS IN & OUT SIZE GUIDE

Our Hands In & Out sleep sacks come in two sizes:

• Medium (6-12 M) - suitable for babies aged from 6 months onwards, weighing17 - 21 pounds. The sleep suit has an arm width of approx 25.5 inches, and approx 29.5 inches in length with a neck hole opening of approx 4.5 - 5 inches.

• Large (12+ M) - suitable for babies 12 months and beyond, weighing over 21 pounds. The sleep suit has an arm width of approx 33.5 inches (including the wrist cuffs) and approx 34 inches in length with a neck hole opening of approx 5 - 5.5 inches. 

SLEEPY TODDLER SUIT SIZE GUIDE

Our Sleepy Toddler onesie sleepsuits are designed for toddlers aged from 1 year up to 3 years.

NOTE: the measurements provided below are of the garment and does not include baby's head.

Suitable fortoddlers aged from 1 year old up to 3 years, weighing from 22 pounds and up. The arm span width is approx. 33 inches (including the wrist cuffs). The length from the back of neck to the crotch is approx.27 inches andapprox. 33 inches from back of neck to the bottom of the foot cuff. Theneck hole opening is approx. 5 - 5.5 inches.
